BIOGRAPHY:

Stefano Lentini was born in Rome in 1974. He's composer, guitarist, arranger and sound designer. His first instrument was the guitar, built by his grandfather with the doors of an antique wardrobe. Ever since he was young he dedicated himself to the composition and arrangement of music. He made his debut at the Folkstudio, a historic nightclub in Rome. His music mixes different styles from rock, pop, classical music to his search for non-conventional tuning with the acoustic guitar. He graduated in Cultural Anthropology and studied Ethomusicology in Rome and in London. He has collaborated with orchestras around the world: National Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra (BU), Orchestra di Roma (ITA), Mihail Jora Philarmonic Orchestra (RO), Digital Records Orchestra (ITA). His music is performed in Spain, Romania, Sweden, Ireland, Austria, Ukraine, Alaska, Mexico, USA and also in Poland at Fryderyk Chopin Music Academy.
He is now working on soundtracks for television (channels RAI, ZDF, ORF, ArteTV, History Channell, Fox Channel Italia, WDR, CBS), cinema and theatre. His latest soundtracks are: "Bakhita" (2009) and "Il Sorteggio/The Draw" directed by G. Campiotti (2010).
