Plot Summary

Turin, 1977. In the "Years of Lead", Tonino is a factory worker in the power press department of the Fiat Mirafiori plant. He leads a modest but decent life, and shares a passion for dancing with his girlfriend, while looking for a social and economic redemption. His life changes completely when he is selected at random as a member of the people’s jury in the first trial against the Red Brigades. Aware of the danger involved in this assignment, and disconcerted by the number of people refusing to serve as jurors, which puts the trial at risk, Tonino has to make a choice that, either way, will deeply change his existence.

"We always ask the State for everything, but sometimes we need to something for the State"
[ Tonino ]
